 The Miracle of Life -
It is taken and it is given

Grandmother Ella
as fostermother/wetnurse
with the 8 Puppies of
 our for ever unforgettable Glenys


Glenys has gone for ever. We are unutterably sad and severely shocked. Our beloved Glenys died on the 9th December giving birth to her Puppies.
However fate did not let us down completely. Our as always reliable Ella adopted the 8 Puppies immediately. Glenys mother Ella is now a very busy fostermother and part wetnurse, we are so grateful to her. We regulary give the little ones milk and they drink it well with much pleasure.

 Life and Death lie close together.

Today we were with Glenys to the Vet for an Ultra Sound and we have seen on the screen the future M-Puppies. The Puppies will be born approximately on the second Advent day. We are looking forward to a Christmas time with Puppies.

IZH - CACIB-Show in Hanover

Our Ella (Ch.Joy Transfer Ella Elaine) enjoys her active Retirement and it gave her pleasure now to be introduced in the Veteran Class. We were rewarded  „Best Veteran of the Breed“ and Veteran-CAC.


Ella’s  daughter Paula (Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss) and her owner Susanne Bösche also had success, Paula received in the Intermediate Class Excelent 1 and CAC.

 Mating News - Litter Planning    


Our Glenys (Ch. Joy Transfer Blue Glenys) has been mated on the 09 and 11 October 2012 by Dudley (Ch. Rarebit Blackjack Boyd), owned by Phil Bitter van Sliedregt, NL.  If everything goes as planned, the  Puppies will be born around the 2. Advent Day. We are very confident and looking forward to the new Puppies.

Happy Birthday Percy !


Our beloved Percy (Ch. Gowerston Graduate) is today celebrating his 11th Birthday.

We can hardly belive it; we are very happy about this as Percy is still in good health and doing his job as babysitter of our Puppies and guardian of his "Harem". We appreciate how well he has done. We have again put a current Photo on  < Percy's Page >  in his Photo Album.

6. German Welsh Corgi-Show

  


On the 11th August it was once again Show Time, We have visited every two years the German Welsh Corgi Special Breeds Show in Bad Salzhausen. In perfect Show weather at very nice grounds we spent an interesting day with our dogs. We had great fun, we saw some of our own bred dogs with their owners and saw again several other nice „Corgi people“. The judgement of our dogs was not that wonderful but therefore the Photos which Susanne Bösche took at the Corgi Show are so much nicer.

International and National Show in Bremen

  


Paula (Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss) makes News again.

At the CACIB-Show on 04-08 in Bremen she won the Youth Class with  Exc.1 and also Youth CAC.

At the National Show on 05-08 in Bremen Paula was  also successful  with Exc.1, Youth-CAC and best Young-Cardigan.

She carries now besides her Club-Youth-Championship also the VDH-Youth-Champion-Title.

CAC-Show in Peine


Joy Transfer Jubilee Edition (Jasper)


We are happy with the results of our New Generation dogs at the CAC-Show of the Niedersachsen Region Club for British Shepherd Dogs (VDH) in Peine.

Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss (Paula)
 was again awarded  with Exc.1 and Youth CAC in the Youth Class. Also with the Junior Handling Sophie and Paula presented themselves successfully. (Photos hereunder)

Our Puppies are born!

  


We are very happy that Ima (Joy Transfer Imogen) gave birth to her first Litter on Whit Monday without problems and her 8 healthy and lively puppies have a good and caring mother.

Paula is Youth Champion



At the CAC-Show from the Club for British Shepherd Dogs in Magdeburg, Paula (Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss) was judged again in the Youth Class Exc.1  and received Youth CAC. With this she has all the results together and carries now the Title Youth Champion (CfBrH).

Also she did shine at this Show with Sophie Bösche with Junior Handling. Sophie became with Paula the Day Winner!

CAC-Show in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

  


Paula (Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss) is further on course for success. At the CAC-Show of the Club for Brit. Shepherd dogs in Dallmin she is judged by Judge Carole Smedley UK, to be the best Cardigan Youth Dog with Exc.1 and has received the Youth CAC.

Championship Show for British Shepherd dogs


Paula (Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss) was successful at the CAC-Championship Show of the Club for British Shepherd dogs in Berlin-Teltow. She received in the Youth class the Exc.1 and Youth-CAC  and carries now the Title „Club Youth Winner 2012“.

Hogarth (Joy Transfer Hogarth Blue Horizon) has settled down in his new good home with Lidija and Bane in Croatia.

At the CACIB-Show from 28.04. - 01.05. in Zadar/Croatia, Hogarth was Best of Breed, a super result for his first Exhibition. Continue like that, Lidija. We congratulate you with

We are very happy to let you know the result from the Ultra Sound, our Ima will be giving birth to her first Puppies at the end of May. We could admire them very clearly today for the first time in the Ultra Sound.

Ima and Frosten
at their first Rendezvous


Our Ima (Joy Transfer Imogen) has been mated on the 30th of March and the 1st of April, by Frosten  (Blåtirans Fritjoff Frikadell), the blue merle male from Sweden, the owner is Angelika Ludwig and we are looking with confidence to Ima's first Litter.  The Ultrasound will show us shortly, if we can look forward to puppies being born at the End of May.

 CAC-Show in Buchholz

We are pleased, that two of the offspring of the J- and K- Litter were shown at the CAC- Show in Buchholz.

Not only the Junior Dogs acquired a taste for the Show but also the young people were committed to the Junior Handling. We congratulate Sophie Bösche with Paula on her first „entrance“ and 1st Place in Junior Handling !

Naturally we also congratulate Family Bösche with Paula’s – Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss - Exc.2 in the Youth class.

Review 2011

 



2011 was a quiet year for us.

 


Shows


















 



We did not visit many shows. After the nice Spring and Early Summer, we were active raising the K–Litter, in August we enjoyed our journey to the Corgi Show in Basel of the Corgi Club of Switzerland.  A good opportunity to spend a weekend together with our friends Evelyne and Claude from France and Hanna from the South of Germany.

We were happy with the results at the Corgi Show in Basel:

Ch. Joy Transfer Clancy (owned by Dr. Hanna Kober) was in the Veteran-Class unfortunately without judgement. They could not judge his movement, because he was limping very badly with his back leg. (Luckily this is already cured again.)

At the end  of the Show year we visited the CACIB–Show in Kassel:

Ch. Joy Transfer Blue Glenys got Exc.2 in the Championclass. Res. CAC.

Joy Transfer Kassandra Kiss (Paula, owner Susanne Bösche) had her debut in the Puppy Class and had together with her owner Susanne enjoyed the result "Very Promising 1".

Joy Transfer Jefferson Midnight (Jeff) and his owner Lucie Jungblut, had no luck at their first Show. They were disqualified: Certainly Jeff will later get the experience, that  showing on a table can also be pleasant, and that he must let someone quietly control his teeth without trying to escape

Puppies

On the 20th of April 2011 our K–Litter was born. Ella (Ch. Joy Transfer Ella Elaine) was mated by Caelin (Ch. Waggerland Colour Confetti)  and had her third and last Litter without problems. She was as usual a perfect mother for her 8 puppies. We had great pleasure with the healthy, lively and beautiful  puppies. Ella’s daughter Paula "Kassandra Kiss" has now had her first Show experience which looks promising. And promising also are all the other experiences which our K–puppies, now as young dogs make with their new families.

 

 


 

 
Health

In 2011 the required examinations which we need for breeding with our dogs were not necessary, this was carried out in 2010. Though for Glenys and Ima we did a DNA-Test for DM (Degenerative Myelopathie), with the pleasant result, that both female dogs are genetic DM-free (DM N/N).

 

 

Our Plans
for
2012

Now we have the New Year 2012 ahead of us.

Our Ima keeps us waiting a long while before coming into season. Probably at the beginning of 2012 a "honeymoon" will be on the programme. We are looking forward to Ima having her first Litter in Spring 2012.

Also our plans with a Litter from Glenys, are only a pleasure deferred. We think Glenys will have her second Litter in the Summer of 2012.

Otherwise we hope that the New Year of 2012 will have many planned and unplanned activities and joyful achievements for us and all our Corgi friends with their dogs.
